Bites

All following pictures and descriptions are taken from the special edition of "Die Giftschlangen der Erde" (The Poison Snakes on Earth) of the Behringwerke on the occasion of the 100 years anniversary of the Farbwerke Hoechst AG, published in 1963 by N.G. Elwert University and publisher's book shop Marburg/Lahn.

17 hours after the bite of a coral snake (micrusus corallinus)

Akgistrodon  bite into the right middle finger of a 10-year-old child, picture taken 3 days after the bite and starting treatment.

42 hours after a rattle snake bite (crotalus durissus)

Eyelash viper (bothrichis schlegelii)bite into right big toe. Picture was taken 30 hours later after starting treatment.
 

The pictures were taken 4 weeks after the bite of a bothrops atrox into the right ring finger.
